I know everyone's going to be talking about it, and I know it's only the flu...but I mean, it could be the swine flu, and I'm worried...
My heart instantly sunk. I'm not over-reacting or anything, but I'm definitely hoping/praying for the best:)
It's kind of a good thing that they are put on leave for a little bit; those boys need it ♥
~
Watched ep. 8 of "Buzzer Beat" last night, and I have to say that these two back-to-back episodes have been awesome! It's the first time, I feel, that we get to see Yamapi in love :D
Sure, ProDai was all about that, but this time, he's not really keeping his composure. This time, he's actually smiling and naturally hugging and kissing her, and being concerned and alkdfjaljdfdj, I love it :D
I feel like we're finally getting to see the real him, when he's in love. That, or his acting has definitely improved :P
edited: Ever since episode 7, I've just really gotten back onto the Yamapi!Love Train, lol. All I want to do is to jump Yamapi's bones. Heck, I’ve always wanted to do that, but now there is proof to his *ahem* capabilities LOL ;)
Ok, so boys kiss girls, we all know how that goes, but daaaamnnnnn boy, why did you not show us your skills until now?!
Now, I don't care about the sexy!you at the moment, really. I'm actually totally in love with the fact that you kissed someone with that much passion, because you like them (a lot) and you've just been holding it in all that time :)
Makes me wonder how this came to be.
I mean, obviously, Yamapi and Keiko were friends before the show, so they must have an easier relationship on set than most co-stars. So...perhaps this amazing kiss was possible by the fact that they both agreed that 'actual' kissing would be ok? Or maybe because the director made it that way?
Still, YUM~
I have to say that, overall, this episode is the best yet! :D
Everything kind of just fell into place; the acting was on the mark! And the situations, oh god! So amazing!! :D
There was just the right amount of angst, teary-eyed scenes, and LOVE ♥
Every scene had just the perfect kind of hidden meaning that it's just all alkdjfaljd sparkly :DDD
AND OMG! seeing Yamapi tear up at the fact that Riko's crying and desperate is so gorgeous. Riko's crying is very natural, and I kinda fell in love with her when she was talking with her mother on the phone and was like "Hm? No, this is my normal voice. I'm not crying."
I love her mini-monologue where she goes, "I won't kiss you again. I won't touch your scabs anymore. I won't slap you anymore. I won't even get closer than 5 meters to you, so please, PLEASE, don't say that you don't want to see me again."
I LOVE IT!!! :D
And flail Mai with Shuji :D They are even more of a fail!couple then Riko and Naoki, which you know they so totally are fail for each other ;p
Also cute that Riko shooed Mai and Shuji off to buy wine:P
Shuji's finally gaining a little bit of confidence in wooing her!! :D
I never really understood the concept of hugging someone from behind, or as they are walking away...but hey, it works in theory;)
Mai is SO great! Her reactions were like 'this is an impossible situtaion,' and when he actually hugged her, her first words were 'whoa~' LOL ^^
On another note, I knew that big box from Kawazaki-san was gonna dwindle down to that one tiny box...rawr:/
The logical thing to do is to back away from this triangle until the basketball season is over, BUT love is never like that. Plus, if you don't deal with it now, you're going to get more and more distracted when it finally counts during games:/
But damn, as much as I love the drama and angst that comes from triangles, I also don't like conflict, and I hate to see the leads all torn and bleh:/
Oh, and all biases aside, I am seriously not liking Natsuki's character. At first, I understood that she felt Naoki was going nowhere and wanted to revitalize the relationship again, but now, she's just being a conniving bitch. First she makes it out like she's the victim when she's dumped by Naoki, and then she tries to weasel her way back into his life by pretending to be Riko's friend. I don't think that even if Naoki still had feelings for you, which he probably does since it's only been a short while since they broke up, he would like to date someone with that kind of character.
Anyways, ep 8's opening scene was just priceless :D
fail!couple to the maximum, but SO CUTE THAT WAY ♥
He totally trips and falls on top of her. And then when he's trying to be a gentleman and pick her up, she's like "Let me down; I'm heavy."
He's like, "I know." LOL, what a loving jerk :P
I'm glad they transitioned from last episode like this, because that's how they've always been :)
Riko is SO random, sometimes. They were kissing again, and suddenly she pulls away and says she hears Mai and Shuji coming back, lol.
And then, it's just so hilarious seeing those two scramble around the tiny apartment trying to find him a hiding space. They decide on her room, and when she closed the door, she does one of those typical 'guarding the door, pretending like there's noone in there' poses and she looks directly at the camera and then just as Mai and Shuji walk in, she does this flourished okaeri~~. And OHGOD, BRILLIANT!
And I love Mai's reaction which was "Tension takakunaiiii~~~~" while waving her hand outward LOL :D
And then I love that Naoki sees his basketball keychain on her violin case ♥
And he smiles to himself:)
I felt kind of bad that he had to spend all that time waiting till the festivities were over, but the scene cuts straight to morning, so it lowers my anxiety, lol XD
And he's sleeping peacefully in her bed. I don't know what it is about those sorts of scenes where it makes your heart scream with happiness just looking at his sleeping form, but yea:)
And then he pulls her in and they snuggle. I love that the director allows for the natural human reactions to show. He pulls her in and her hair flops and it's ok that way:)
Then he flails because he gets to call her by her first name (which he's never been able to do), and she does the same, and its just A;LSDKJFLAKJF!
Riko has superhuman hearing (but I guess that's the stereotypical musician's image?) and sends her email down on a sheetmusic!airplane, BWUAHAHA, and he catches it while it zooms by ftw:p
And so they finally get to text each other and I find it highly amusing that Naoki is sort of the girl in the relationship. He sends like super emoji-fied long texts while Riko's just like 'this is what I'm doing, bye.' LOL :D
And later on, Riko brings up the subject of meeting Naoki that first time lost his phone. I'm not exactly sure what else she says, but of course she had to bring up Kawazaki-san :/
BUT, even if he's got this little thing hanging over his head, he's all motivated more than ever now, and people notice it:DDDD
YES, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT FALLING IN LOVE SHOULD LOOK LIKE! THANK YOU! :D
