Recently, I commented on Twitter about how I should watch all 13 currently airing dramas that I'm interested in, so that at the end, I will have finished 13 dramas at one time. You see, I am basically obsessed with numbers, stats in particular. Like, how many dramas I've watched this year, how many times did I play this song in a week, how many words did I write this month, etc? I'm attempting to break my record of 33 dramas from last year, and since I'm actually free this summer, I think I can do it.
Also, I've been working on my ridiculously massive dramalist, which will chronicle my time in dramaland since 2008. Of course, it is very lacking in reviews, but that can't be helped; I am a silent watcher most times xD

Next up, I'm thinking up an entry about online identity development compared to the minority identity development taken from my textbook.
Or just random things I've been flailing about to no one in particular.

Since the new drama season is just about to start, I'll talk about the line up that I might be interested in watching as well.

Juui Dolittle -Oguri Shun, Narimiya Hiroki, Inoue Maou w/ guest stars of Masuda Takahisa and Suda Masaki :D
Story-wise, I think this might just be something that's easy-going and not something I'll be truly interested in.

Q10 -Sato Takeru and Maeda Atsuko.
It's a robot!love story. I don't know how I feel about it...but hopefully it's cute.

Nagareboshi -Ueto Aya, Matsuda Shota, Kitano Kii w/ first episode guest star of Daito Shunsuke.
Potential to be an awesome love story :) Makes me think back to all those plots about marriage out of convenience and then blossoming into true love. I'm a sucker for this stuff ^^

Freeter, Ie o Kau -Ninomiya Kazunari, Maruyama Ryouhei
Watching for the cast, the story doesn't seem very appealing to me.

Guilty Akuma to Keiyakushita Onna -Kanno Miho, Tamaki Hiroshi.
Definitely must watch from the looks of the summary. Kanno Miho plays a criminal who didn't really commit the crime and comes out of jail 12 years later seeking revenge, lol. I love her, thanks to ginzarhapsody, so I can't wait to see what she does this time :)

Keizoku 2: SPEC -Erika Toda and Ryo Kase w/ supporting cast of Kamiki Ryunosuke.
Looks like it'll be slightly dark and quirky. I adore Erika and I think this is going to turn out something like BOSS. I've always thought Ryo Kase was a solid actor in movies, so I'll be interested to see how he does drama-wise :)

Reinoryokusha Odagiri Kyoko no Uso -Ishihara Satomi and Tanihara Shosuke.
I'm obviously watching this for Tanihara-san, and it's got a ridiculous premise so I don't know how much I can stand of it. Something to do with a fake fortune teller...I'll give it a try since I don't know much about it yet XD

Ogon no Buta -Shinohara Ryoko and Okada Masaki w/ supporting cast Kiritani Kenta.
Looks like another detective story. Hopefully has a continuing storyline underneath the episodic formula.

Okay- that's a lot and there's no way I'll keep that up, because I'll be tempted to watch past seasons' dramas, but this is a start, lol.

day 29--> your hopes for the next 365 days
The first thing that comes to mind is to be less selfish ^^ And then, to become even closer to my friends and family :) My other goal is to graduate with at least a 3.4 GPA (rounded), to get into grad school, to still be working at Kohl’s and enjoying (for the most part) what I do, and to listen and create music :D I would also like to learn how to take care of myself (I need to learn to cook), perhaps actually keep in shape rather than let my metabolism do that work, to write a lot, to watch a lot of dramas, and to inspire people (idk how I’ll do that, but I want to ^^). I’d also like to go to Japan, but the only thing that’s looking likely in the future is stopping at Narita for a fuel up on our way to Malaysia :P

Sexiest: A NishiKato drabble from this, because there was one sentence of UST :P
Fic that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: The Act of Washing Clothing; I never really knew Uchi and I guess writing him made me think of him in a new light.
Hardest to do: The Pieces That Still Fit (Broken Walls and Cracked Hearts); this was a remix and the original piece was so well written and jam packed with angst/power behind the characters’ emotions that I just didn’t know what to ‘tackle’ first. I liked my opening and ending, but the meat of it was just not enough dialogue for my taste…
Biggest disappointment: Short Cut; I guess I really just don’t know how to write Shige with Sho XD
Most telling: Holding My Breath; I’m so proud of this fic, because I found a connecting factor in the story that wasn’t entirely overbearing, but somehow was still a noticeable theme. My first remix and it’s ‘telling’ of how I feel towards Ryo and Sousuke :)

Just saw that the lovely Ran uploaded the LQ version of "My Girl" and can't believe that the "Fall" season is actually starting already! :D
Ohgosh, I'm going to be so busy, but that'll give the episodes time to pile up (hopefully) so I can marathon a little ^^

I think I'm going to be following "Tokyo DOGS," "Liar Game 2," "ROMES," "Untouchable," "My Girl," and "Welkame."
The 'maybes' are "Bocho Manio 09," "Challenged," and "Gaiji Keisatsu."

I love this show so much that I can't wrap my mind around it. I'll try and write it down, but damn it, this show just gets to me:)
At first, I thought the 'shuffle' in the title meant like...dancing for some reason, lol, so I wasn't expecting an actual card shuffle theme. It was a nice surprise, and the cast definitely pulled it off:)
Now, some people are weary of this show, but I don't know why, because I thoroughly enjoyed it. The stories behind each character were touching and thoughtful, so I have no qualms about loving this show wholeheartedly:D
Plus, the running theme was about people, people needing others, needing to love and connect, and how pasts can haunt the present, and how we can try and move on from it. Not only that, but Tanihara-san played a Psychologist, something that's dear to me, and he addressed suicide, which is also something that hits home for me ^^
