WOW, quite literally :)

In the spirit of the upcoming convention, I've kicked myself back into some fantasy gaming gear. Sort of ;)
Thanks to
thistleinmay for showing The Guild to me :D
I definitely just marathoned through "The Guild" webisodes, SO addicting :)
It's an online series about these 5 'World of Warcraft' gamers who are so addicted to the game that they don't have social lives, don't want one, and use WOW terms in real life :P
Felicia Day (the gorgeous redhead) is the lead and creator/writer of the series and she's going to be at D*con :D
She was also in "Mr. Horrible's Sing-a-Long Blog" which was co-produced by the Whedon brothers, and you know anything Whedon is well worth it ;)
If anyone's interested, my reviews for episodes 3-7 of "Futatsu no Spica" are here
I also made a review for The Real Onigokko, if anyone is curious about that movie:)
I didn't feel like x-posting, but I figured I'd link to in case anyone was paying attention to my FnS tag XD That, and I want to make sure my tag is complete. I didn't want it to seem like I ditched the series, when in fact it was awesome:)
Back tracked and watched ep.7 of "Koishite Akuma," and I'm beginning to see what Peyton meant when she said it was too much like "Majo no Jouken." Well crap! At least Ruka had enough sense to tell her, 'hey, you'll be fine. Just keep doing what you do best and teach.'
For some reason, I felt like he was encouraging her to think about the present rather than what their relationship might hold in the future. Meaning, he was telling her to think about her career, rather than have their relationship (which they had been secretly yearning for awhile now) progress.
I know teachers shouldn't really date their students, but we know the background to this story, so we want them to end up together:)
And OMW, I knew it was Nobuo's character who did that! *glares daggers*
I'm so glad Ruka has that ability and keen sense of what's going on, because I suspected the vice principal too. I don't know how it works in Japan, but why is it that the mother and son can be direct subordinates in the same school or whatever? Doesn't that just scream favoritism? Dunno *shrugs*
Ruka, please don't be stupid and end up disappearing just because you didn't want her to be submitted to your world of darkness. If I were you, I'd talk it out with her. I'd let her decide; give her the facts, I'm sure she'd be more than willing to stay with you forever. It seems like she was leaning towards that option anyway...
If I were in that situation, I'd want to be selfish, if not only to survive, but to also have the chance to be with someone I truly loved...forever ♥
I'm also finally catching up with "Orthros no Inu," and I feel like it's great that Takki and Ryo are working together, but the underlying political agenda behind this plot is not very appealing. Then again, I was hoping for a full on supernatural storyline with more in-depth characterization, but I guess that'll come in due time :)
Haven't felt like watching anything in particular, except that's probably a good thing, because that means I'll have less definite distractions when it's time for me to do HW :P
Watched NEWS perform "Kibou~Yell~" and although it was natsukashii, it was also painful to listen to XD
Ryo and TegoMass did well...but damn...I love you, boys, lol :D
Flist, I'm sorry I haven't been as attentive lately. I think this particular transition to the Fall season is starting to wear me down. Still, ♥ and *hugs* to everyone :D
