I hope everyone had a Merry/Happy Christmas...I hope no one blew up with too much consumption of food or of excitement of wonderful gifts. I am thankful for thoughtful friends who really care more about the meaning of the gift than the price value<3
Even thought I didnt ask for much this year, my friend Frances went all out and got me this amazing book:Stargate SG-1: The Ultimate Visual Guide.

It had blueprints of the ships, translations of Goa'uld and Unas language, planet coordinates, recaps of each season, character biographies. It also has a DVD inside for extra features like behind the scenes with everyone...OMG. I am so grateful.
I also got socks from loverly Sarah, and they are SO cute!
I got a target giftcard, some chocolate, soap, candles, and a really cute outfit that I actually would wear, lol. So, I'm very grateful. My birthday is in 3 days and I know of some of the presents that I will be receiving, but I'm just glad that I made it through my first year of college without killing myself...it was also my first year of working while going to school. I got 2 A's and B's...3.461....that's scary seeing that I have to maintain that for the next 4 years...
On a happier note, I'm finally going to be 18, but the way I see it, even if I have lived 18 years of my life, I have not experienced those 18 years fully. So, while I may be turning 18, I must have taken the years before me as lessons, take all that I have learned being 17 to help prepare for my year being 18:)
Take care everyone and have a safe New Year<3
