I acknowledge that this is news that everyone is talking about and may be sick and tired of its repetition, but it's Michael Jackson. It's kind of necessary to document the date and time we received this news, so here I am, like the rest of us.

I don't really have much to say about this man, but I do know that he was a great part of the music industry. I didn't pay much attention to his scandals, although some filtered through to me. I don't really have a judgment for or against him, it doesn't really matter anymore, does it?

He was a great musician, an eccentric artist and person, and may he rest in peace.

It's a simple melody, really, but it's still important. It's only human to miss people, moments, and things. After all, our lives are made up of the people who surround us:)
