I thought kleenexcow 's story, "Two Below Zero," was really well done, especially the characterization, so I hope this fanmix provides a nice background for the story.

I chose music that reflected the themes of loss, denial, resistance for help, and yet a bit of hope that there was someone to turn to. I also tried picking music that felt like it would appear on the show, some instrumentals that seemed a bit more haunting but light. I felt like the first few songs could really reflect the time in Kara's life where she was holding onto Zak. The middle songs reflected more of the story's content and the struggle to get home. And the last few songs reflected hope.
