NEWS has been a huge source of happiness and encouragement for me, whether it was 6 years ago when I first discovered them, or 5 years ago when I started a new journey, or just this past summer when I was feeling down about my job situation. NEWS lyrics helped me to calm down and keep trekking through. So this is a post kind of for me to put it all out there, lyrics that really speak to me when I need a little push. This is also in celebration of their anniversary. NEWS, thank you for existing, fighting for it, and bringing the joy back to us ♥

Also, Tegoshi’s translated comment below really fueled my love for NEWS as they are now:
I don't want to hear "I loved 6-members NEWS", it's frustrating to know that somebody might want us to go back to what we were. If somebody thinks that for real it's because our power is not enough yet, it means we have to work harder and harder. NEWS is a 4-members group. From now on it will always be like this.

Ever since getting back into the stride of watching Kamen Rider, I've been looking up random things on Wiki, and this is what I found amusing recently:
Foreign productions as tokusatsu
The Japanese market regards several English-language live-action series dubbed into Japanese as tokusatsu programs. English language television programs such as Thunderbirds, Doctor Who, Lost in Space, Smallville, Wonder Woman, MacGyver, Stargate SG-1, Battlestar Galactica, Red Dwarf, The Greatest American Hero, Knight Rider, and even Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends are considered by the Japanese as tokusatsu for the special effects techniques and themes that they utilize.
I knew I loved tokusatsu for more subconscious reasons than just crazy storylines, cool "Henshins" and pretty boys ♥

I've kinda been running out of things to watch (How is that possible?!), so I thought, why not catch up on some American shows?
So, now, I guess I should catch up on "True Blood," "Chuck," and "Castle"...but, but jdramas are so much more fun and fast pace! lol
This is when you know you've been brainwashed XD
I was thinking about Kamen Rider Hibiki...but the video quality is so bad! I'll have to find a good download of it if I'm to watch it at all.

I can't wait for April. Time for fresh pickings XD

Wow, the kid who played Makino Tsukasa's little brother is still soft-spoken but buffed up! He's so adorable *pinches cheeks*
And of course, I'm totally there for Nissy and Daito Shunsuke. Yusuke and Koji have gained popularity now, so I'm giving more love to the supporting characters ;)

No matter what I've had to deal with during the day, or how stupid or down I feel, I know that I can turn to this Johnny's world, and someone will make me laugh and smile so much that I'll forget all my worries:)
Even a hug that isn't given to me, even a hug like the picture I get to see for a split second, can be felt and is enough:)

If you haven't already noticed, I've been recently obsessed with Asian boyz and dramas;p Well, because of the boys I get into the dramas, and then certain dramas introduce me to new boys. It's a huge cycle, and I can't get out; I don't wanna get out;p It relieves my stress, causes me stress, but most of all, it makes me happy beyond belief:)
I made a list to show you my progress through the Asian Dramas (if you care) but mostly it's a tracker for me:)
Most people don't understand my (and Frances's) attraction towards Asian men or culture, and it's hard to explain. It just seems like they've got better boys these days;p
I love the fact that the Asians cherish the little things in a relationship: they DO think that hugs and kisses are a big deal. I think that's incredibly important, because in this day and age, we have too many reckless people, who don't respect that, which I absolutely hate!
It might be in the genes, because despite the fact that I used to hate my culture, I lived it. If you know anything about me, you know I progress extremely slowly in my relationships. Hugs ARE A BIG DEAL, and I haven't been kissed yet. I'M PROUD OF THAT. Now, that doesn't mean I don't want any of that, it just means when it happens, it'll be a significant moment. And yes, I know somethings don't happen like you want them, and sometimes, the firsts aren't the greatest, but I cherish them anyways.
THAT is what I like about the Asian culture/dramas I've been immersed in. But, that doesn't mean that Asians are bland....Oh, far from that. Let me show and tell:D

Thanks to Frances for finding "Nobuta wo Produce," I have discovered the love that is Yamapi (Yamashita Tomohisa) and NEWS:)
[They are apart of an agency called "Johnny's Entertainment," which is the largest boy-band producing company in Japan. They also have 'Johnny Jr.s' who are younger boys in training to debut as soloists or as a group. Arashi (from my previous b/f post) is one of them:p]

Yamapi- he is such a goofy, cool, HAWT, mysterious person:)



NEWS- (basically stands for North, East, etc.) the name is derived from the fact that the boys all come from different regions of Japan, and the first band to combine other band members. Let me introduce them before I go any further in confusing you;p
